Tamara’s design background informs and influences all of her work, from a love of composition and visual space to the energy and freedom of abstract line work. Each painting explores the simplification of pattern, space, colour and texture from the places she has visited. Her framing sets of the work beautifully and I am thrilled to feature Tamara in this show.

Artist Bio: Tamara Williams
Tamara works intuitively, seeing more when she’s not focused on the detail with a variety of mixed media that capture the experience rather than the reality of each landscape. Some of these are specific to landscapes around her studio in Surrey, the South Downs and Devon but mostly they are a visual amalgamation of memories and feelings from one or many places.
