Collection: Martin Norman

Martin is a sculptor and master mould maker who has his own studio in the beautiful Holme Valley in West Yorkshire. He originally studied Product Design and went on to learn the highly skilled art of moulding and casting Fine Art Sculptures. He began working for many highly admired artists such as Anish Kapoor, Anthony Gormley and Sophie Ryder. In 2004 he set up his own moulding and casting business and began sculpting his own range. 

His sculptures of animals combined with classic and iconic found and upcycle objects are humorous and often create a narrative. Using his skills with metal and stone powders combined with resin, results in work that looks like the original object. It is only on closer viewing that you realise the object isn't how it first appear!
