Lucy trained at St Martins and Brighton and has a BA (Hons) in graphic design, specialising in illustration.

The beautiful and sometimes wild coastal scenery is an inspiration - the dramatic sea, rugged cliffs and stunning, golden beaches all inform her work and provide the reference for her colourful, mixed media paintings. Although Cornish landscapes are the primary focus of her work, she has begun to investigate different stretches of the British coastline including areas around Margate and recently the South Devon coastline near Dartmouth.

A keen walker, Lucy will always take her camera and sketchbook with her on trips to record new images so she has plenty of inspiration in the cold winter months when she’s tucked away in her studio.
