Collection: Linda Miller

Linda spent her childhood drawing and making things. She learnt how to use a hand cranked sewing machine when she was very young and loved the rhythm of its stitching. Growing up in Hastings she was intrigued by the Bayeux Tapestry.

After studying printed textiles at Winchester School of Art she combined both her drawing and machine stitch to make machine embroideries. Themes for her work are taken from the world around her, domestic scenes, daydreams, her love of colour and the constant need to make continue to inspire Linda to create her machine embroideries.
