Helen has been working as an artist/printmaker since graduating from the Royal College of Art in 1992. She has exhibited widely throughout the UK and abroad and has shown regularly in the Royal Academy Summer Exhibition, the Royal Scottish Academy and many other open shows.
Helen combines her love of animals and natural life with a love of drawing to make her etchings. Her subjects have ranged from gorillas to penguins and from the family labrador to the blackbird in her garden. She is especially informed by the Japanese idea of space being as important as subject in a composition.
