Simon Hart previously owned Hartworks, the gallery that became Baxters. His work sold very successfully in Baxters for many years before he took time out to pursue a gift business. It is great to have his work back in the gallery and to see how it has developed.

Artist Bio: Simon Hart
It was while Simon was studying at the Royal College of Art that he developed the unique collage style that he is so well known for and makes his work so instantly recognisable especially his seascapes of Cornish and Devon harbours that are particularly popular. Strong shapes, layered forms and rich colour palettes are an essential part of his creative process and more recently he has introduced other techniques including mono print and block printing to add extra texture and detail to the compositions.
