Artist Bio: Sally Gardiner
Inspired by a life long love affair with the countryside and living on a farm just outside of Bath, Sally is offered ample opportunity to engage and create the characteristics of wild, farm and domestic animals she encounters. All Sally’s pieces are individually hand built using stoneware clay. They are fired up to 3 times and she uses slips, glazes and oxides before a final firing of 1260 degrees. Sally gained a BA(Hons) in 3D Design: Ceramics at Bath Spa University.
