Bottoms Up

Devon based Lynsey rarely goes anywhere without her doggie companion who is her muse for her linocuts. This original print is hand pulled from an original lino block using lightfast oil colour inks onto archival quality 100% cotton rag acid free paper. This is no 5 out of an edition of 10. The frame is a distressed deep feature frame which sets off the work wonderfully.

Artist Bio: Lynsey Pickwell
Lynsey’s work is inspired by the everyday and the extraordinary things that she loves, and created using a range of printmaking processes ... some traditional, some she is yet to find a name for! “I believe that art should speak to you, whether it is meaningful, and thought provoking, or simply makes you smile, reminding you of a time, place, person or creature that you love. When we put a picture up on our wall at home it always invokes an emotional response to one us. Each piece I create heavily echoes this sentiment.”
