Using reclaimed wood from beaches and the Severn bore, Steve Mansfield's birds are a real gallery favourite and talking point. He gets a huge amount of attitude into his birds and cleverly combines different shapes to make his characterful sculptures. This outdoor bird is part of a collection made specially for our exhibition and comes on a metal spike for placing directly into the ground.

IMPORTANT NOTE:- As this piece is in our exhibition, although it can be bought now, it cannot be delivered or collected until the middle of June when our show ends. We will email you to agree a date on purchase.

Media: Reclaimed Wood
Dimensions: 120 x 150cm

Artist Bio: Steve Mansfield
Until becoming a full time sculptor Steve was a graphic designer and photographer. Watching grebes dance and herons fish, spotting shearwaters, gannets, cormorants, razorbills and guillemots, black-backed gulls and kittiwakes… Steve’s weathered driftwood sculptures evoke a sense of wild places and a reminder of windswept walks.
