Collection: Cressida Borrett

Cressida Borrett works as a potter making work inspired by nature and the things around her. Alliums remind her of her garden and cow parsley of walks with her family. She likes to use obsolete objects and the cow parsley drawings are made with used nails. She loves the idea that things we no longer use can have a new life as something else.

Her work is made in white stoneware either thrown or rolled and press moulded. They are decorated with scraffito, oxide and underglaze. They are dishwasher, oven and microwave proof.

Cressida feels very fortunate to make a living doing what she loves. The idea that people use her work on a daily basis makes her happy.
